Hi all! Welcome to this episode of “Ask the Experts”. I'm really excited, this is my first episode. My name is Margot. I'm part of WordStream's marketing Image Masking team, and today I'm addressing a question that WordStream clients have asked me time and time again, namely, "What's the ideal way to structure my AdWords account?" And, the answer is that there is actually no perfect way. This might not be, you know, the answer you wanted to Image Masking hear, and I apologize, but I'm here to walk you through some best practices and what you can do to really define the structure of your account and get better performance with AdWords. Why is AdWords account structure so important? I want to start by reviewing what is so important about the account structure. And the reason why account structure is so important - there are Image Masking actually several reasons. So, first of all, your account structure determines how and when your ads will appear, and to whom. So that sort of determines how relevant your ads are, what search queries bring up your ads, and where those queries go to for your users. It also affects important parameters such as the quality level. So, we all know Quality Score is so important - it's basically the scale of how much Google likes you on a scale of one to 10. So if your account Image Masking structure is kind of a huge mess, this will cause a drop in clicks. through rates, lower performance, lower quality scores and you're going to pay more, so that's another reason why account structure is so important.
